When a render fails, identify which stage failed: source decoding, fonts, composition, audio mixing, encoding or saving. Changing every setting at once makes the problem harder to understand. Start with the explicit error and a short representative project.
Unsupported source or export codec
Container support does not prove codec support. A video file may have a decodable video stream but an unsupported paired audio stream. The browser must support the source and the requested export H.264/AAC configuration.
Use a valid source and a WebCodecs-capable browser. Choose a resolution and frame rate the browser supports. The studio does not lower your selected quality silently or substitute a recorder/WebM export when MP4 encoding is unavailable.
Missing font or clipped text
Confirm that remote fonts can load and imported custom fonts are available. Check the selected weight/style and character coverage. A missing-font failure is different from a wrap-box clipping problem.
Wrap mode clips overflow to the configured height. Strong curvature bends the whole block and can need extra height. Increase the box, reduce curvature or shorten the phrase, then inspect the complete shaped line. Canvas zoom is not a change to export resolution.
Silence, echo or unexpected loudness
Check audio clip intervals, source offsets, gain and track mute. Video layers may contribute embedded audio. Hiding a visual layer does not mute its soundtrack, and adding the song separately can create duplicate sound.
Overlapping audio is summed without loudness normalization. Reduce excessive gain and listen to the overlap. A visualizer demonstration is not generated export audio, and a project with no audible clips remains silent.
- Inspect all audio-producing layers.
- Check mute and gain.
- Listen to the overlap interval.
- Confirm the source is decodable.
Resource warnings and long exports
Warnings use approximate device guidance, not a measurement of free RAM. Audio sources and the full mixed soundtrack occupy memory. Images, video decoders, textures and native encoders need additional resources.
Disk output reduces retained encoded media but does not make the complete pipeline constant-memory. Close unnecessary applications, use a device appropriate to the project and test a short complex passage. There is no guarantee that a long export fits merely because no fixed duration cutoff is imposed.
Permission failure or an MP4 another player cannot open
A cancelled or failed native save is not automatically retried as a browser download. Select the desired destination explicitly and review browser permissions. Cancellation during a final file commit can leave a completed file even if the job is reported cancelled.
Direct disk output is fragmented MP4, which some downstream tools do not support. Standard memory output creates a fast-start MP4 but retains the whole payload. Verify the actual file in the target player and choose the appropriate supported path.
