Text animation should establish rhythm and hierarchy, not make the viewer chase the words. Lyrical Video separates typography, entrance/exit treatment and continuous motion so you can start with a preset and refine each part.
Build a static style worth animating
Choose font, size, alignment, fill and outline before motion. Solid color is a strong default; horizontal or vertical two-color gradients offer another look. Keep a visible distinction between lyric text, song title and credits rather than animating every element at the same visual weight.
Use scale mode when handles should change font size. Use wrap mode when handles should change the text area while keeping font metrics. Position controls and canvas arrows make small placement changes without relying on an animated frame as a ruler.
Choose how the phrase arrives and leaves
Lyrical presets combine a starting appearance with effects, but remain editable. Set independent entry and exit transitions and durations. Wipe reveal composes with other text behavior. Inspect the beginning and end of the actual clip because a long transition can consume most of a short phrase.
For fast lyrics, make the text readable quickly. For a title, a slower reveal can create anticipation. Avoid applying the title's timing to every lyric line simply because the treatment looks impressive in isolation.
- Choose a preset as a starting point.
- Set font and colors for your song.
- Tune entrance and exit durations.
- Preview the shortest phrase with that treatment.
Add continuous motion deliberately
Float, wave and beat motion continue while the clip is visible. Amount and speed influence how strongly the line moves. Beat motion should be checked with the actual project soundtrack; a demonstration response is not evidence that it fits your music.
Reduce movement for dense phrases. When a background is already drifting and an equalizer is active, text may benefit from staying almost still. Motion hierarchy makes a composition feel intentional without requiring every layer to move.
Curve the text without clipping the words
Curvature bends the complete shaped text texture, including connected scripts. Wrapped text bends as one block, so strong curvature requires enough configured height. Use angle separately for layer rotation, and inspect rendered bounds after a substantial curve change.
Try a curved title above straight lyric lines. Save a readable default treatment, then apply variations only where the music structure supports them. The current editor does not provide general keyframe editing; use its exposed transitions and continuous effects rather than expecting arbitrary animation tracks.
